One Semester of Traditional Darkroom Printing

8 sessions. Mondays, 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
Dates (Attend any 8 of the following 10 scheduled sessions):
8/19, 8/26, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4
Learn the techniques to print and develop with a personal printing style. Working from their own negatives students receive individual instruction. Topics include: archival printing, toning and portfolio editing.
Fee: $440** for the full semester.
**Students provide their own photo paper.
Sunday Open Studio
Every Sunday with Reservation

Develop your film and print your black and white negatives at Hamilton Heights Darkroom.
Fee: $55** for each 3 hour open studio.
**Students provide their own photo paper.
Image Transfer Workshop
Saturday, 9/21/19, 11:00am-3:00pm

Apply your photos to alternative surfaces.
Come with your photos on a USB drive or bring in laser prints (up to 8 1/2” x 11”).
Learn how to:
- Make a copy of your image suitable for transfer
- Prepare your surface: Work on wood, tile, fabric, and stretched canvas
- Transfer your image to the surface
- We supply the materials
- Leave with a unique finished piece of art

Lighting Workshop: Digital & Analog

Class includes:
- Demonstration of different kinds of lights and their modifiers including hot lights, spotlights, studio flash and on-camera flash for Digital and Analog formats
- Learn how the photos you like were produced
- Learn how to mix light and use your camera to fuller potential

Photograms are made by placing objects on photo paper to make images of the objects in black & white.

- Leave with unique creations in a traditional art form that will inspire your kids to work with their hands.
